You jump out of your skin. Towering over you is a vast,
heavy dog-like creature with red eyes and extremely unusual markings. Weird.   "Don't be scared traveller," he begins. "My name is
Jarie, and I live in these forests with some of my friends."   You've heard rumours that creatures live in these woods,
but you didn't actually believe them. Better start believing them now...   "Are you alright?" Jarie asks in concern. "You've gone
awfully pale. Do you feel ill?"   You shake your head, trembling, but that seems to satisfy
Jarie. Shrugging, the creature bounds into the trees - and disappears. You are left on your own for a moment, before a graceful
                                    creature leaps into view.

The creature looks you up and down in disgust, and
snorts,   "Another human? I don't understand! My name is
Liana."   You frown. Didn't Spittle say you were the only human?
You bow to Liana and ask,   "Has there been someone else here?"   Liana laughs, a pretty little chuckle which echoes
through the forest.   "Many, many! Haven't you noticed?"   You shake your head, and Liana leaps away. Very strange.

As you are about to leave, you spy a large wolf-like
creature flying down into the clearing you are standing in. You move out of the way as it lands and introduces itself to you.   "I'm Bluma." It says, "What are you doing here?"   You tell him you're exploring, and it smiles at you.
"Exploring, eh? That sounds fun. Hey, I know a great
place you could go to. Back to where I came from. It's fun there - promise."
